The Committee's Mission and Goals
The Professional Learning Committee (PLC) is dedicated to fostering learning, growth and connection within our vibrant community. By collaborating closely with community members and brainstorming as a team, this committee designs and delivers professional learning opportunities tailored to solution-focused practitioners and leaders. Their work spans a wide range of engaging initiatives, ensuring that members across all streams of practice have the tools and support they need. Key objectives are:
- Curating meaningful learning by liaising with the community and collaborating as a team to develop and facilitate professional learning opportunities that are deeply relevant to solution-focused practice.
- Hosting regular spaces for connection; e.g., circles and affinity groups which provide supportive spaces for members to share insights and learn from one another.
- Organizing signature events such as twice-yearly Town Halls featuring special guest presenters, bringing fresh perspectives and inspiring ideas to the community.
- Continuously broadening the scope of professional learning so that it meaningfully applies to all streams of solution-focused practice, including therapy, coaching, research, organizational development, education, healthcare, and beyond.
